Boot City is click and mortar western apparel store located in Lubbock, TX. The best little western store in Texas is about to become the best little western store online. Bootcity.com sells Justin Boots, Ariat Boots and just about any other brand of boot you might want. Bootcity has been online since July of 1996. SEOTA was engaged to redesign the site and at the same time improve the eCommrece and search engine performance.

Our Approach

In order to provide such a huge improvement in sales and store traffic we had to architect the web site to solve some basic catalog issues as well as improve usability and search engine friendliness. We applied our basic SEO strategy to the content and link structure of the site in order to make it keyword rich and easy to navigate. We used data from the new SQL Server catalog to dynamically display page titles, meta tags and content. As a final step we garnered inbound links (backlinks) from other relevant web sites.
The site was then manually submitted to the search engines.

The Results

Sales:	Immediately achieved our object of 300% increase in online sales. Ongoing tweaks and adjustments have resulted in increases of 300% to 2000% over previous years sales for a given month.
