Teleplan came to us in May of 2009 with a unique challenge. They had just launched their first business unit that focused on selling directly to the consumer. They had already spent a nice sum of money with another SEO firm and did not have much to show for it.

At the time we started the project the consumer website had almost no organic search traffic, no revenue from organic search and no prospects of turning it around anytime soon.

Our Approach

SEOTA began a 12 month project to improve both organic search traffic an revenue from organic traffic.

  • We started by changing the website taxonomy and link structure to better enable the search engines to access the content

  • We created an extensive off-site content network

CASE STUDY: Zulumoon.com Silver Jewelry 

ZuluMoon.com is a sterling silver jewelry store based outside of Boston, MA. They have been a leading seller of Silver Jewelry since 2004. SEOTA did their original SEO strategy and execution and had incredible results. We are revisiting the site this summer.

The First time we SEO the online retailer we saw:

300%+ increase in revenue in a very short time frame

What we are doing now:

April 2010: A reformulation of our original SEO strategy was started to account for changes in the site content and in search engine technology since our first SEO project.

May 2010: A redesign is underway to implement table-less CSS design. the new design will use our new SEO strategy and taxonomy for online catalogs.

Results:

We are hoping to duplicate our original SEO success with Zulumoon. Our new strategy is still in the infancy of the life cycle. Our last SEO of Zulumoon resulted in 300% increase in sales. Our new strategy is aiming for 100% increase in current sales.
