As many have you have read, Google recently did a major algorithm change that has caused a stir of commotion around the Internet. At SEOTA we take a long term 'White Hat' strategy to SEO that we provide for our clients. Our objective is to deliver top-notch quality content that is relevant and appropriate to key searches specific to our clients' specialty; products, services, and procedures.
As of this morning, Saturday February 26th, 2011 most of our clients are better situated on Google than they were before the algorithm shakeup. We are diligently working on the few who are not, trying to pinpoint anything that may have been done prior to them hiring SEOTA that may have caused the issue.
Our customers can rest assured that SEOTA's methods and techniques follow the Google guidelines to the letter and we only push the envelope for clients who demand it and are aware of the risk. Even in those instances, we never do anything that is unethical or that we feel may get a client's website punished by Google.
Across all of our clients we have had 6,721 search phrases improve slightly and 968 phrases decline slightly. No decline was more than 7 spots.
Review the Google analytics for your website, you definitely should contact your account manager if you are seeing a significant drop in business or traffic to your website. We have not detected any drop in traffic for our clients.
